Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 (2025) Review: A Heartfelt Farewell For Boonboomger Fans

This Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 review looks at a farewell stage show built for devoted fans of the TV series. It is not a theatrical film. It is a live tour that toured Japan from March to May 2025 and later reached home video on Blu-ray.

The event is a warm thank-you to the audience, and it works best when you already love the team.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 Review: The Story So Far (No Spoilers)

The show has two parts: a scripted stage story and a talk show with the cast. The plot is a completely original adventure written by Atsuhiro Tomioka, the main writer of the TV series. That gives the story a familiar voice, even though it is separate from the television episodes.

The Gozyugers also appear, which adds a crossover feel to the celebration. Beyond that, the surprises are best left untouched. Think of it as an extra chapter for the team rather than a standalone movie.

What Works in Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025

The biggest strength is the sense of occasion. The tour was designed as a goodbye, and the format shows it: an action-adventure show first, then a relaxed conversation with the performers.

This balance is smart for several reasons:

• The scripted half delivers the colour, energy and teamwork that define a Super Sentai story.

• The talk half lets the cast step out of their suits and speak to fans directly.

• Having a writer from the TV series on board keeps the tone consistent with the show people already know.

The guest appearance by the Gozyugers is another treat. Fans of the franchise will enjoy seeing two teams share the same space.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 Cast and Performances

The core Boonboomger team returns, and the Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 cast list reads like a reunion:

• Haruhi Iuchi as Taiya Hando / Bun Red

• Yuki Hayama as Ishiro Meita / Bun Blue

• Miu Suzuki as Mira Shifuto / Bun Pink

• Ryu Saito as Jyo Akuse / Bun Black

• Satoru Soma as Genba Bureki / Bun Orange

• Yu Miyazawa as Sakito Homura / Bun Violet

I can't judge individual performances in detail, because no critic reviews or footage notes are available to draw on. What the format promises is a chance to see the actors in two modes: in character during the show, and as themselves during the talk. For a farewell, that mix is exactly what fans want.

Where Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 Stumbles

The main limitation is audience. This is a fan event first, so newcomers may feel locked out. Without knowing the characters from the TV run, the in-jokes and emotional beats will carry less weight.

There are also practical hurdles. The show is in Japanese, and the information I can verify about its release is thin. It reached Blu-ray on 10 September 2025, and a retailer lists a 95-minute running time. That figure comes from the disc listing rather than the live performance itself.

Finally, there is no published critical consensus, so expectations should stay modest. A stage show recorded for disc will rarely match the scale of a big-budget action film.

Is Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 Worth Watching?

Yes, if you are a Boonboomger or Super Sentai fan, it is worth watching. It offers an original story, a cast reunion and a heartfelt goodbye in a single package.

If you are new to the franchise, start with the TV series first. The show leans on affection built over a full run, and that payoff is lost without it. Viewers who simply want a standalone action-adventure should look elsewhere, such as our action movie reviews or adventure movie reviews.
